Inspired by the Dandies of Carnaby Street in the mid-1960s, the Rupert jacket features peaked lapels, a square front edge, and three high-set buttons for a distinctive, era-defining silhouette. A flapped chest pocket and slanted flapped side pockets add balance and swagger—but it’s the deep inverted pleat at the back that truly sets the jacket apart. A rare detail in modern tailoring, it offers a dramatic line and ease of movement, evoking the flair of mid-century peacocks.
Crafted in a bold tonal brown regatta stripe, the cloth makes a strong yet elegant statement, pairing particularly well with plain shirting and bold accessories. Cloth-covered buttons complete the look, giving it a bespoke feel in a ready-to-wear format.
The trousers sit high on the waist and are cut with four deep inward-facing pleats for a contemporary shape. Traditional side-adjusters and internal brace buttons keep the waistline clean, while the generous 21-inch hem is finished with a 2-inch turn-up.
Please note: sleeves are generously cut and designed to be altered to your preferred fit. Trousers are hemmed at 32", but can be lengthened or shortened as required.
